Usage / How to Use

The Deluge Skid is used in high-hazard environments where rapid water application is required over a large area, such as oil refineries, chemical plants, and aircraft hangars. The main water supply is connected to the upstream flange, and the deluge piping is connected to the downstream side. When a fire is detected, the pre-wired solenoid valve receives a signal, opening the deluge valve and flooding the protected zone instantly. The bypass arrangement allows for manual testing and maintenance of the valve without disrupting the main system flow.
