Benefits
Traditional deluge valve installations often require extensive on-site labor and consume significant floor space. The D-Pack solves these challenges by providing a plug-and-play modular system that arrives ready for immediate connection. The enclosed cabinet protects sensitive internal components from environmental dust and accidental impact while providing a clean, professional look in mechanical rooms. By including all necessary butterfly valves and pre-wiring the electrical components into a single central junction box, the D-Pack drastically reduces the risk of wiring errors and cuts installation time from days to hours. This efficiency translates to significant labor savings and ensures your fire protection system is operational much faster than traditional field-assembled methods.
Usage / How to Use
This deluge skid is primarily used in high-hazard industrial zones such as chemical processing plants, oil refineries, aviation hangars, and power generation facilities. To install, the free-standing cabinet is positioned and securely bolted to the floor. The water supply is connected to the upstream flange, and the discharge is connected to the downstream flange. Because the internal electrical components are already terminated into a junction box, the site contractor simply connects the main power and signal wires from the fire alarm control panel. The polycarbonate window allows operators to check system pressure and status daily without ever needing to open the cabinet door.
